Maarten Verschuere is a Belgian AI keynote speaker, strategist and author. He has worked in data and AI for nearly 20 years, first as a data scientist at dunnhumby and Catalina Marketing, then as founder of the conversational AI company Clever, which he sold to Zoovu in 2019.
Today he is an AI researcher at VIVES University of Applied Sciences and the co-author, with Paul Joustra, of AI Will Replace You (Lannoo, 2025). His AI Navigator Framework helps leadership teams move from inspiration to enablement to scale.
He has worked with brands including Tesco, Carrefour, P&G, Belfius, AB InBev, Thales and BNP Paribas.
